About VetScreen™
VetScreen™ real time PCR kits uses the fluorogenic probe based chemistry that uses the 5´ nuclease activity of Taq DNA polymerase and enables the detection of a specific PCR product as it accumulates during PCR cycles.
Our real-time PCR test is a duplex real-time PCR designed for detection of species specific mitochondrial DNA and internal control genes. It includes oligonucleotide primers and dual labelled hydrolysis probe for the in vitro qualitative detection of desired species in raw and cooked meat products.
