Similar to (A kind of) pneumonia, it is caused by the bacteria, legionella pneumophila and spreads through mists formed by air-conditioning units of large buildings, community places and even hospitals. Those over 50, including those with weak immune systems, chronic lung disease or heavy tobacco use, are most at risk.
